9 more days and soooo ready to eat!

Hey there! Well I am 9 days away from the Indiana State/Hoosier Muscle Classic!!! Super excited! My friends and clients and family are coming so I am gonna be sure to rock the stage! My weight is sitting at 144 where it's been for a couple weeks now. Not worried about the number cuz my body is tightening up a lot! This is def the best i've looked and I know I say that every year so that's aweosme! It's always my goal to look better each year.

I have been trying to get my cardio in before I eat my first meal but the past week has been horrible for that! I get dizzy and see spots so I have had to eat first then do it. Grrrr I hate that feeling!!! But it's not worth it to me to feel like crap! As always it is not just about the look but it is also about the process and I want to enjoy it the best I can!

I am so fortunate to have 2 sponsors this year! Fitness Now, my gym I work and train at, is sponsoring my entry fees which is amazing! And Jodi Lane Reynolds http://www.jodilane.com who is generous enough to do my suits! She always does a great job so I am anxious to see what she's come up with for me this year! I appreciate my people so much! Huge help!

Hey! well here i am at 2 weeks out from the Indiana State show. Super excited about this show since this will be the first time in like 4 years my parents will be able to come! and i have tons of clients and friends coming too! so i am amped to get on stage and werk it! lol! i am about 144 lbs right now which is fine. i never really worry about weight until the last week and even so i still have to just chill about it. anyway, i think i've picked the song ill do my routine to. now i jsut need to put my routine together! im bad about waiting til the last minute to do it but i always make it work!

so here's a couple pics of me from today! im feelin great and i feel like this is the best ive ever looked! so yay! oh and i get to keep my pb in after my workouts so i am not mad about that!

14.5 weeks out

I am now 14.5 weeks out from USAs! I have only been dieting for a week but I have noticed changes already!! Yayy! I am also teachingspinning classes so that might be what's workin too! I am pickin up new clients which is awesome! and working on some new things for the website. I am looking forward to improving myself and my business!

17 weeks out til Vegas!

I am officially 17 weeks out from USA's! I am about 152ish which is super low for me at this far out! lol! we will see where I end up! Official prep starts next week! So one more week of fun then it's on!

I also started teaching spinning classes at my gym and did my first one yesterday. It was awesome! I had so much fun and I think I definitely worked the girls hard! So huge accomplishment for me!

So I am working with a new girl who is doing her first figure show this year! She has gotten ready for one before but wasn't able to compete so i am extra excited to get her to the stage this year! She is gonna rock it out! She has already put on some good quality muscle in just a month so I know she will kick ass!

Well I did it! I made it through another contest prep and I won! I took home the overall title at the 2010 NPC Erik Fankhouser Mid Atlantic Grand Prix! I was super excited! And better yet the trophy I got was a foot taller than me! hahahahahha! Needless to say we had a hard time getting it into the car! I had so much fun! Had some great people there supporting me including my gf and her parents and some friends from the gym! Way grateful they made the trip! My girl's best friend competed in the men's open lhw and he looked awesome! Tough class he was in but he definitely stood out! Met IFBB Fitness Pro Stacy Wright and her husband. He competed too and looked great! Stacy is a real sweetheart! Loved talking to her! And I also got to meet NPC figure competitor Lori Staats! What a doll! Great girls! That's what I love about this sport. Getting to meet fellow competitors!

Of course I always look for areas I need to improve on cuz I know I can always make changes. I feel very fortunate to have done as well as I have and I am very grateful to have the people in my life supporting and pushing me to do my best. I am requalified for nationals so I gotta decide what I'm gonna do next year! But in the meantime, I am gonna enjoy some time off! And some good food! Been trying new recipes for protein bars and pancakes!!! I love it!

Yayyy I am down to 2.5 more weeks! Feeling tired of course but not doing too badly! Getting up at 4:30 a.m. is rough but it's keeping me on track and keeping me disciplined which I love! I am making changes every week and getting excited to see what the final result will be! I am also just excited to have my best friend and gf with me supporting me!

Hey there! How are you all?! Well I am 5.5 weeks out now and sitting around 143 lbs. I've actually gained a few lbs but looking tighter and tighter so whatev! That is why I never really pay attention to the scale until the last few weeks! Anyway, last week I shot with Barry Brooks and we got some great shots! So those pics should be up in members section very soon! And I dont' think I have shared my most recent tattoo. I got it in Key West when my girlfriend and I went there on vacation back in July! It's my 4th tat and I love it! I will have some new pics up soon so check back! If you can't tell it's on the right side of my lower back.

6.5 weeks out!

I am 6.5 weeks out from the West Virginia show!!!!! I am roughly 140lbs and feeling pretty good! I have been a little more laid-back on this diet than in the past but I think it's doing me some good. My body seems to be responding a lot better and making more frequent changes. I am trying new training along with my regular training. I have been doing more plyos and supersets than in the past when I would just lift as heavy as i could for as long as I could. This keeps me from getting burnt out and i enjoy it!

I am doing a photo shoot next Tuesday with the wonderful Barry Brooks so I will have some new pics in the members section soon!

What's been goin on!

Ok well it's been a hot minute as usual! Sorry! I've been dieting, training, working, and raising a puppy! His name is Tyesn and he is now 5 months old! My beautiful pitbull boy! He is awesome! A gift from my wonderful girlfriend! He is a handful but I adore him!

Other than that I am about 7 weeks from the West Virginia show!! i am at about 140 lbs so most likely going down a weight class to middles which is fine. been there before!

Ok so I was on T.V. today! The news actually! I did a little 5 minute segment on training of course for IndyStyle which is a program on a local news station. Congrats to all the ladies who competed this past weekend at the Tampa Pro. It was great to see how many female bb's there were. The ladies all brought their best and looked incredible! gets me motivated to get back to the stage.

I am going on a week long, much needed vacation next week to Key West, Florida with my favorite person in the world! I am super stoked! Then we come back and it's time to diet ;) Tried to take a year off but it looks like I am itchin to get back to the stage sooner than I thought! Hey there! Well I think it's been about 4 months since I've posted anything. :( Sorry I have neglected my blog. I am done working for the summer at school but working as a trainer at my friend's gym in downtown Indy.

I am not competing this year because I need to work on some body parts like my legs and calves and shoulders and more than anything I need some mental time off. I just got a pitbull puppy!! He's adorable. He's 4 weeks old and we named him Tyson. He is a new fixture at teh gym and everyone has fallen in love with him but it isn't hard!

Ummm let's see what else is new?? My figure girl is getting ready to compete next weekend at the Indianapolis Bodybuilding and Figure Championships. She looks great and I am really excited to see how she will do but I am confident she will look amazing and shine on stage! I know at the show I will get the competition bug and be ready to start dieting! I have lost a little weight though which is great for the summer! I am going to Key West Florida at the end of July!!! Clothing optional right?!! My best friend is pregnant with a little girl! She is due in September, hopefully September 3rd since that's my bday!

Other than that I am just training myself and others!

Also, for those of you who would like to come train with me or know of anyone who wants to come train with me shoot me an email. The gym is called Fitness Now and it's in downtown Indianapolis.

And finally, I just got some new photo shoot pics from Nationals and have some more on the way as well as some video footage so check my members section in the next week and you will see some new stuff! Oh and exciting news, I was asked to interview for the TV show MADE. A girl in Florida wants to be a bodybuilder and the producers contacted me to see if I would be interested in being her MADE coach!!! So wish me luck!

Go Colts!

Hey! So my hometown team the Indianapolis Colts won last night! 20-3! Puttin the hurtin on Baltimore!

However, I was not watching the game, rather I was watching some hot hot drag queens workin their stuff on the stage at a bar downtown. It was so fun! The women looked incredible but do I call them women or men? Or as I heard one kid call his drag queen in training buddy, a "diva". I like diva! Then my friends and I danced the night away. I love how at gay bars it's ok to take some of your clothes off! I stared at this one guy who danced on a big platform in just his tighty-whities! But he did manage to keep his kicks on! Holler! But of course I forgot my camera so no picks :(. Next time, cuz I know I will be back there again soon!

I am now back in school this semester taking a class toward my special ed license and masters degree. Pretty excited about it. Fortunately, it's an online class so I can go at my own pace. And the prof told us we'd have to try really hard to get a grade lower than an "A". Hey I ain't complainin!

Well, I am working with a girl now helping her get ready for a figure show so I am way stoked about that. SHe's competed in the past and always looked great so I know she will do well. And of course I am still enjoying the offseason. But not for too much longer! Gotta get ready for July shows! I have only myself to beat this year!

UPDATES!

Hey! Happy New Year! My New Year's Resolution is to bust my butt in the gym each and every day! And keeping in contact with all the new and wonderful friends I've made in this sport including the friends I have had for a long time. All those people are near and dear to me! And thirdly, it is my goal to update and work harder on my site so that my wonderful fans and members can have something to look at more frequently!

Speaking of which there are lots of new pics in the members section and plenty more to come! I will take some progress pics because I am working on adding a little more size. I weigh about 164.5 right now which is good for me. I feel great and am very happy with my progress!

Xmas is coming!

Hey there! Well it's been waaaay too long! Sorry I haven't posted in forever, I was just being lazy!

Ok so here's what I have been up to:

I finished up the year with Nationals in Miami and I placed 12th out of 26. I was pretty happy with my placing because it was a tough competition. I ended up putting on some extra muscle in between USA's and Nats so I was stoked about that. I had a blast and met a lot of wonderful women! All of the girls looked fantastic. It was a great show! My friend Lori Steele turned pro which was exciting to watch. And after 4 years away from the stage Nicole Berg turned pro in the lhw class. And she is a doll! Super sweet and super beautiful! She really earned that pro card! Congrats to Kris Murrell and Lisette Acevedo the hw and mw who also turned pro. Those two looked incredible as well and deserving.

After the show, we went to club Mansion and it was wild! So much fun! Great music and tons of hot people!

I also did an online contest with Andrea Giacomi and Deanna Harvick. The three of us were featured on James Cook's first Webcam Physique Extravaganza. We had a stinkin blast and thanks to the viewers I won! I was honored and very flattered!

So after the show I was able to return to a normal life again! And normal food! Thanksgiving was a week later and it was a totally different experience this year! I ate my little heart out! And I was able to spend time with my family. So, right now I am just working and training and it's great. I am lifting heavy again and enjoying it more and more.

As for next year, well i will do a local Indiana show because I have to requalify for national level and then I will do USA's again. So just working on a few things and hopefully make improvements for next year!

Mondays at school are always rough. The kids are extra wild because they just got over the weekend and it's hard for them to adjust to the changes of starting school each week. But we managed and it's just one day closer to teh weekend!

Yayy it is getting closer and closer to the big show! So ready to be done dieting. I have been dieting basically since January. Yuck! But it's been good.

My little bro came to town this weekend to visit. We got to hang a bit. He's such a great person. He is so funny and sarcastic without even intentionally trying to be. It's so funny! He has such a positive outlook on life, it's contagious! I hate that he lives out in L.A. but hopefully I'll be able to go visit him soon!

So since I've been single I have been living it up! Going out with my girlfriends each weekend! Just havin girl time! Went to a gay bar this past weekend and had a blast! They played my fav kind of music: trance/house music and we danced all night. Caught a drag queen show while we were there and just had so much fun! Sunday I went to the Indianapolis Colts game with my girl Jess and her man. We had awesome seats and the Colts smeared the Seahawks. It was great! The stadium is new and it was just gorgeous! So it was a great weekend! Just not long enough :(

My trainer got us tickets to see DJ Kaskade at Club Mansion in Miami! He's spinning on Saturday night right after my show! My girlfriends who are coming with me are gonna be in for a treat! And so will I! So here is a sneak peak of where I'm at 7 weeks out.

It's 8 weeks til Nationals! I am getting super excited about it! It's a lot easier this time around because I dont' have as much weight to lose since I just came off a diet. I'm about 147 right now which is good. Just have to bring it in tighter!

Well I have officially decided to do Nationals in November! It's 13 weeks away! I am very excited and very motivated! I am more motivated than I was for USA's! I thought about doing it about 2 weeks ago and my trainer encouraged me to do so. He sent me my nutrition and it was ON! So I have about 2 more weeks of a mini-offseason to try to put some size on my quads. I've been doing this mini-offseason thing for 2 weeks already so I hope it has done some good. I weigh about 151 right now so I am stoked about that. Just ready to get back on stage again! And it's in Miami!!!! So I'll post updates and pics! 13 more weeks!

Hey hey! Just got back from Vegas and a great show! I had a blast! I met some amazing women. Lisa Boushard, Kris Clark, Chris Sabo, Amanda Folstad, Diana Tinnelle, Tracy Bodner, and I could go on and on! It was a blast! These are women I have admired for a while and to get to talk to them let alone be on stage with them was incredible!

So, this year I moved up a weight class to the lightheavies. I was worried about being too small but that was definitely not a problem. I weighed in at 137!! That's 12 lbs heavier than last year when I was a middle. And I was definitely harder and tighter this time around so that is a huge accomplishment for me. I took 6th place which was awesome! I got first call outs but they took 6 of us out so I didn't make top 5 which was my goal. But making first call outs was huge! And looking at pictures I am super happy with how I looked.

My little brother came over from LA to see me and hang out for the night. And one my clients I train, bless her heart, drove from vacationing in Arizona to see me on stage at the night show. I was so flattered that I meant that much to her to come see me! She's so sweet!

Aleesha and I got to spend a lot of time together which was much needed and just really nice. Did some shoots together which was cool. And my trainer Pete put up with not one but 2 dieting, cranky girls for an entire 2 weeks! He is a saint. He cooked all of our food which was so nice cuz I was not feeling too great the last week. He really rocked out my diet this year and I have never looked better and I was even bigger. He definitely knows what he's talking about! So a big huge THANK YOU to Pete for getting me into shape this year!

Other than that just getting ready to go back to work!! Gotta love summers off! I love this sport and it will always be a part of me in some way. My goal for this offseason is to just add some size to my legs and eat clean and consistent. Next year I will probably go back to Vegas for USA's cuz Vegas is a great place to end a diet!! Two weeks til Vegas!!! So so excited! Feeling good but super tired now. But I expect that at this point. I am weighing about 144 now which is right on track. I am definitely bigger and look harder than last year so really that's all I care about. Should be able to drop a couple more these last few weeks. Next week I will be in Utah with my trainer Pete and my girl Aleesha so it will be nice to feel like death with them! Especially since Aleesha will be competing too so it'll be fun to spend time together. Here are some pics I took yesterday. I'll post something with some pics as soon as I get back! Wish me luck!

Well, I sure do love dieting what can I say?!! Ummm not really! This past weekend I had sushi and you would've thought it was going to my last meal. I was craving it and since I am allowed to have it on my high carb days I took advantage of it!

I got to see my 3 month old neice, Sage. She is beautiful and healthy and happy! I just adore her.

I am so excited for Vegas! And bonus: a week before the show I am going to stay with my trainer Pete and his girlfriend Aleesha who is also competing. So she and I get to suffer through our last week together! I'm just pumped to hang with them for a week. Then it's off to Vegas for USA's!! I feel great about how I'm looking right now. Still weighing around 150 but I'm not gonna sweat it too much. Doing my two a days of cardio so that should help. But this is the biggest and hardest I have ever been so no complaints from me! Pete has really done a great job with my nutrition so I have to give him all the credit. And Aleesha has endured all my whining and moaning about everything! Well, so has everybody I guess! But I am motivated and my eyes are set on the prize! And then some eating afterward!

So this past weekend my boyfriend and I went to the new casino that's here in Indy. It was awesome! Everything is electronic because we have laws that won't allow actual person dealers I guess?!! I dont' know why! ANwyay, the casino was really nice. We got dressed up and went and played a few slots. We had a blast!

Hey there! It's been a while! I am on summer break right now and loving it!

I am 8.5 weeks out from USA's! I am super stoked to get this diet over with cuz I am ready to eat! It's getting hard going to cookouts and graduation parties when I can't eat!! But I've been strong and haven't given in!

I weigh about 152lbs right now and my calories are still pretty high. I feel good. Not really hungry which is grrrrreat! Here is a pic of me out by my parent's pool.

Well I am off to do some cardio!

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted :(. I have definitely been slackin. Well, I am getting ready for the USA's which is in Vegas baby! Holler! So excited! This is going to be a great year I can feel it! My trainer Pete is not allowing me to do too much cardio right now which I like! I am 14.5 weeks out I think!

I have been so busy with work, my night class for my masters, and training that I barely get enough sleep. I also moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend and we are so happy there! It's an awesome super spacious apartment. We love it! Other than that I am just trying to stay on track and get my workouts in. This year I might be moving up a weight class so that takes a lot of pressure of the making weight for the middles. But the diet is great and I haven't lost any strength so I am feeling super positive! It's a little stressful now with having bills, but we are making it work! I will take some progress pics and post them each week.

I shoudl also have some new videos from Jr. Nats last year I did with Annie Rivieccio from Muscle Angels that will be posted soon so stay tuned! Thanks for all the support! Later!

Arnold 2009!

Hey hey! Well things are good here just super busy as usual. I have been dieting for about 8 weeks now get ready for the USA's. The plan is to take off some initial weight then try to put on some more muscle without much fat and then hit a 16 week contest diet. We will see!

Next weekend is the Arnold Classic. I am super pumped about it this year because I am working a booth for my good friend Kate Stewart. We will be there all weekend representing her clothing line Fisico Moda. So if you go to the Arnold Expo make sure you stop by my booth! Other than that I am just tryin to get in shape and be better than last year. I am very happy with the progress I've made so far especially since I haven't been able to do much cardio since I get sick every other week! I've learned that being a first year teacher exposes you to so many more germs than you ever thought possible! But my job is so rewarding and it's so worth it!

Hey hey hey! Well it's been a long minute! Sorry for neglecting my journal :(. So, I have been super busy, working every day and training a couple people. I love my job working with students with special needs. It is the most rewarding and fun job I have ever had! I also just started back to school to work on my masters degree in special ed so I will be able to teach special ed and/or P.E. and health! I am very excited!

I went to Atlanta this past November for Nationals. It was a freakin blast! I think I got about 8 hours of sleep the entire weekend. I just stayed out each night partying with my friends! I got to hang with my girl Aleesha Young and her boyfriend and I also got to hang with some other bb friends which was super fun. My friend and fellow bb Shannon stayed with us in our condo so that was awesome! I know I kept her up a lot with all my loudness but I know she didn't mind! I did one photo shoot with a good photographer friend of mine Doug Smith who is a doll. He did a great job with the shots!

As far as bb is concerned and competing I just started an 8 week precontest diet, diet. I have been getting into contest prep mode these past 2 weeks and I am super excited about competing this year. I am doing USA's and possibly North Americans. But definitely USA's. I think the show is about 26 weeks away. So I have plenty of time but I am just trying to drop an initial 20lbs that way I can save some muscle and not have to drop a ton of weight at once. My calories are still pretty high and my cardio isn't too insane so I am feeling good! I am training at a different gym right now which has helped get me re-motivated. Sometimes I just need a change of pace in order to get myself recharged!

I hope to put some more videos up soon. I promise to get some interesting and fun stuff for all my members! I will keep everyone posted through my contest prep. I know it's exciting to watch the changes we bb's make with our diets and training.

San Fran!

This is a pic of a huge mural that was painted on a wall in San Fran.

So last week I was in San Francisco visiting my good friend Gene! We had a blast! The city is pretty amazing. He showed me everything. It was really fun! We ate at teh In N Out Burger joint which was probably my fav place to eat. And some other restaurants that were really really good. I got a tattoo while I was out there too! It hurt pretty badly but my friend sat by me and kept me preoccupied so that helped.

So I've decided to take some more classes to get my special ed license. I love where I'm working which is a school for students with special needs. So, I am excited about pursuing that. Other than that I'm just training hard and tryin to get bigger!

Last night my friends and I celebrated our friend Brooke's 21st bday. Took her to dinner and then to Jillian's for arcade games and bowling. It was a really fun night for her! I didn't get home until about 5:30 in the a.m. So, I am a little tired!! But it was a fun night.

I have one more week substituting and hopefully I'll be able to stay on as a full-time teacher. I have also decided to go back to school to take a few more courses to get my special ed license since I have enoyed working with these kids so much. So, more school!

One more week til I get to see one of my favorite people in the whole world! I am so excited! I'm sure we will get into some trouble out there!

And there's some new stuff in the member's section from one of my shows last year where I won the middleweights. So until next time!

Sad sad weekend

So over the weekend, my good dear friend was in a horrible accident. He and a friend went boating and ended up flipping the boat. He told me that they were going pretty fast and hit a wake, lost control and flipped the boat, landing nose down in the water. The driver, whom I really didn't know, died unfortunately. It's just a really sad situation and I know my friend is really really upset about it. He's like a big brother to me so to see this happen to him really breaks my heart. But that's what's new here. Sorry to be so depressing. There should be some better news next time.

Well today is Labor Day so hope everyone gets to enjoy a day off. Went out to dinner with the fam to celebrate my brother and sister n law's 2nd anniversary. The place we ate at was this old-school Italian spot. So so good! Everyone there was super nice and it was just really good food. Then family birthday party on Sunday which was great. So, I ate a lot of cake this weekend and I laid out all weekend so now I am fried like a biscuit! It's fine though!

New offseason diet plan which so far I really like. My good friend Pete put it together for me and I know it will definitely give me the gains I want. He is wanting to get into contest prep so he is my diet guru!

Wednesday is my 27th birthday so all day I will eat and do WHATEVER the heck I want! I am never too old for that! Other than that, not much else is new!

New stuff in the members section so check it out. My webmaster has been continually putting a lot of stuff on there so it should be updated a lot.

Hey! Well, last night was my friend Tabitha's 30th birthday. She wanted to go to Jillian's which is a restaurant/bar/arcade/bowling alley type situation. It is a really fun place and we all got in touch with our inner-child there! We played games all night and just had a great time!

I have been hittin the gym intermittently and having great workouts. I am going to San Francisco at the end of September to see a very dear friend and one of my favorite people so I am pumped about that! He was kind enough to fly me out there! He's so good to me! I am very excited to see him! And my 27th birthday is in 2 weeks!!

So, today I trained chest and it went well. I sort of felt like I pulled a pec muscle but I know I didn't. I just got some weird pain near my sternum but it's a muscle pain and nothing like I normally have. Oh well I guess! And I have definitely done something to my back cuz it hurts to bend over to the right to pick things up! I am such a wimp!

I volunteer in the nursery at my church so tonight they are putting on a dinner celebration for all the volunteers. So, I am stoked about it because I know the food will be good and they are raffling off prizes! And I will get to see some good friends!

I just got back from Vegas and I had a stinkin blast! There were so many cool things to see and do. I got about 16 hrs of sleep in the four nights I was there so you know I had fun! Hey everyone! Well, I am enjoying my offseason and the summer. I had originally planned on doing USA's which is next weekend but I had to pull out of it because I was just miserable with my training and diet. I hated working out and I was just really really burnt out. So, in my best interest I decided to not do the show. I am still going to Vegas though and I will be at the show for sure. So, I promise to have some great pics for yas!

Now I get to enjoy my summer and boy have I been! I just started my boot camp this week and have been kickin the ladies' booties! They love it! It's rough getting up at 4 a.m. but it's so worth it. Other than training hard and eating I am just having more fun being able to hang out with my friends and family more often. I don't have the stress of having to practically live at the gym! Oh and the website is coming along! My webmaster is fantastic! I know he's gonna rock it out for me! Well, I will post after I get back from Vegas!

2nd Place Middleweights!!

So I just got back from Chicago where I competed at Jr. Nationals. I placed 2nd in middleweights and was so very very happy about it! I am really excited and had such a wonderful time. I met some really amazing women and just had a blast. Everyone was so nice and helpful and it was just a great show. Now I get to enjoy some fun foods but on Wednesday it's back to business to get ready for Indiana State and USA's!! Other than that I am just enjoying my second place finish! 2008 Indianapolis Championships/My Graduation!

Hey there! Well it's gettin down to the last week and a half before Jr. Nationals. I feel like crap but I'm supposed to now! This past weekend a good friend of mine competed in the Indianapolis Figure Championships and placed 3rd in her class!!!! So stinkin proud of her! She looked awesome! Another of my friends placed 2nd in her class, another placed 3rd in hers, and one of my guy friends won his weight class! So all in all it was a successful weekend and I am so proud of all hte hard work these competitors put into their prep.

On Sunday my parents had a graduation party for me. It took all my willpower all day to avoid the humongous cake that was sitting out! They saved and froze a HUGE chunk of the cake for me so I will take advantage of that after all my shows are done! I am doing 3 shows this summer so it's a long long time of dieting but it's so worth it! Can't wait til Chicago!! 4 weeks out!

So here I am 4 weeks out from Jr. Nationals! I weight about 137 so I feel confident about making middleweights. My diet just changed which is rough but it is worth it. I am getting ready to celebrate my graduation from college with a party at my house! A pool party! I told my parents to pick the cake-whatever is their favorite cuz Lord knows I can't have any of it!

Today my friend Becky and I made shirts for our friend Jessica who is our coach. Jessica Wright is an IFBB figure pro and the hardest working individual I know. She has helped me through my training these past 16 weeks and has guided me through it all. So our shirts say "Wright Stuff!" Becky is 2 weeks out from the Indianapolis Figure Championships. She's lookin awesome!

I am getting really excited for my show and I know I will look even better than last year! Above is a quick shot from a shoot I did last year after winning Collegiate Nationals (2007).

New website

Hey there! This is my very first journal/blog for my new website! So excited about this! My webmaster is a genius and has been so good to me! He is working so hard right now to create a uniquely awesome website that will fit me to a "T"! My site is basically going to showcase my bodybuilding career with pictures, training videos, and updates on what I am doing.

Right now I am getting ready for Jr. Nationals. I am 5 weeks out as of today! I weigh just under 140 and I feel like I look better than I ever have which is exciting. Unfortunately, I do have a sinus infection that I have been fighting all week so hopefully by next Monday I will be back in full force. I will have plenty of time to get fully prepared so I am not too worried. Then after Jr. Nats will be USA's in Vegas! So this is a very exciting summer for me and I can't wait to share it with everyone!

Oh and I just recently graduated (a week ago actually)! After 8 years in school I finished with a degree in physical education and health. Totally suits me! ready to be able to celebrate that with my family and friends. But that will have to wait! I did get to have a cheat meal to celebrate it though. But other than that, I am just training and trying to get over this sinus thing. Hope you enjoy this first blog of mine and please check back for more updates and I will post progress pics too!
